Friends, food-lovers…

Over the past year, we’ve introduced a whole variety of plant-based food items to our menu. As we continue to grow, our goal is to continue to create foods that are made with good-for-you superfood ingredients that taste good — no exception. We want you to look forward to breakfast and lunch, and not have to deal with the post-nom-nom bloat that comes with the idea of “treating” yourself to something that tastes amazing.

From our probiotic coconut yoghurt parfaits to soups, salads, and dangerously delicious cookies and treats, we’ve launched every new product and recipe with our team on the ground, listening to your feedback and learning how we can be better. Thank you for y
our ongoing support, and keeping these goodies off the shelves so we don’t hog them all! One thing we know we’ve been missing: SANDWICHES. That is, until now…

…And then some! From new sandwiches to new salad bowls and soups, our new lunch menu is finally here!! Read below to discover some of our newest items you can find in the fridge.

SANDWICHES

SANDWICHES- Plant-based lunch with ELXR

For a group of sandwich lovers that rival Joey Tribbiani, we’ve taken our time developing the perfect sandwich recipes. All sandwiches are dairy-free and vegan, and ready-to-grill when ordered.

Chipotle Mushroom Sandwich

Perfectly smoky + saucy, this sandwich has a texture and flavour so yummy you’ll just have to taste it to believe it. Bonus: mushrooms are great for immunity!

Ingredients: BBQ Mushrooms (cremini, enoki, olive oil, cumin, paprika, mustard, garlic, chipotle, maple, chilli powder, tomato, Sea salt, lemon, Tamari), pickles, carrot, kale, red cabbage, tahini dressing (tahini, garlic, Sea salt, maple, lemon, cider vinegar). On Bianca bread. 

Eggplant Pesto Sandwich

Treat your taste buds to a trip to the hills of Genoa with this crispy Italian classic, made with super creamy homemade avocado mayo!

Ingredients: Eggplant (roasted eggplant, garlic, lemon, Sea salt, oregano), tomato pesto (sun-dried tomato, lemon, kosher salt, oregano, olive oil, garlic), avocado, tahini, chickpeas. On Bianca bread. 

Tofu Scramble Wrap

Wrapped in the thinnest flatbread and filled with subtle warming spices, this wrap is perfect any time of day! Packed with protein, prepare for lasting energy to power through your day.

Ingredients: Tofu, cumin, fenugreek, coriander, garlic, onion, ginger, clove, cinnamon, sunflower seeds, arugula, kale, lemon, maple, olive oil, white beans. With Lavish flatbread. 

 


SALADS

SALADS- Plant-based lunch with ELXR

Who says salads are boring? Mixing your traditional favourite flavours (think a BBQ Cesar Salad with our own version of croutons) and superfood ingredients, our three new salads will make the perfect lunch (or dinner!) to keep you full and satisfied. (PS. Still on the menu: your favs the Mediterranean Bowl, Protein Kale Tabbouleh and Macro Bowl.)

BBQ Kale Ceasar

You can make friends with salad with this incredibly delicious twist on a classic Ceasar. Gluten-free polenta croutons and THE BEST DRESSING EVER will have you waiting for the lunch bell to ring (so to speak).

Ingredients: Kale, BBQ chickpeas (chickpeas, tomato, olive oil, cumin, paprika, mustard, chilli powder, tamari, lemon, chipotle, maple, sea salt, garlic), quinoa, polenta “croutons” (cornmeal, water, turmeric, lemon, sea salt), pickled red onion (red onion, lemon, sea salt), radish, parsley, smokey caesar (cashews, olive oil, lemon, parsley, green onion, sea salt, smoked paprika, garlic, onion, maple).

 

Wild Harvest Bowl

Sunny turmeric tofu sits atop this bowl brimming with bright peppery arugula, roasted roots, and nutrient-dense wild rice. The herb pesto dressing? Out of this world, and with extra protein too from sunflower seeds!

Ingredients: Wild rice, golden tofu (coconut, turmeric, tofu), arugula, roasted roots (yam, parsnip, carrots, squash, olive oil), red cabbage, toasted sunflower seeds (maple, sea salt), herb pesto (lemon, sunflower seeds, parsley, basil, olive oil, maple, garlic, sea salt).

Detox Salad

Sometimes you can’t beat a classic. But when you take out the refined sugar and goopy dressing from a classic broccoli salad, we beg to differ! This light + fresh bowl makes the perfect forkful when you just don’t know what you’re in the mood for.

Ingredients: Broccoli, celery, parsley, carrot, raw sunflower seeds, currants, olive oil, lemon, sea salt.

All salads are gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan. 


SOUPS

…are back! And they’re a little different this year. In our fridges at Scotia Plaza, Bayview Village, and Yorkville Village you’ll find a 1L glass mason jar of last year’s favourite soup flavours, Hot Detox and Spiced Red Lentil. Why by the litre? Last year, we heard you when you said you wanted more soup — by purchasing in a larger quantity it would allow you to take a little bit more of elxr goodness back home and enjoy there too. Now you can! Each jar is four servings. Our hot tip: grab a jar,  keep it in your fridge at the office, and have your lunch ready to go for four days! Meal prep just got a whole lot easier. However starting today at Bayview Village, they’ll be ready to serve by the cup.

Spiced Red Lentil 

Ingredients: Red lentils, onion, cumin, fenugreek leaves, mustard seeds, coconut milk, tomato, garlic, ginger, cinnamon, lemon, cloves, maple syrup, olive oil, salt + pepper

Hot Detox

Ingredients: Kale, spinach, collards, callaloo, lemon juice, olive oil, Spanish onion, turmeric, garlic, allspice, black pepper, sea salt

All soups are gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan.
